Zelda Panay was a knife thrower at Jonas Brothers Circus in "Metamorphosis". Her act originally carried the circus prior to Mia Romanov's act.
In 1971, Zelda wasn't happy when Mia decided to start her own silk aerial act to save the circus and threw a knife that just missed her head as a warning that accidents happen.
As of 2010, Zelda still performs her knife throwing for blue collar plate dinners. Detectives Nick Vera and Will Jeffries questioned Zelda during the reinvestigation of Mia's murder. Zelda claimed that she took care of Mia like family. She directed the detectives to Lester "Gargantuan" Smith, who is Nathaniel "Biggie" Jones' goon, while mentioning that Biggie always checked on the featured act before they went on stage.
After the case was solved, Zelda is last seen performing her knife act at the senior retirement home.
