Vaughn Bubley was the first son of Maeve Bubley and the main victim of "Saving Patrick Bubley" who was murdered In 1999. His case was reopened when it's found out that all but one of Vaughn's brothers died as a result of a rivalry with his killer, Miguel Maldonado. Vaughn was murdered by Miguel for trying to retrieve his youngest brother Patrick's prized scooter from the gangster.
The Bubley brothers' spirits are last seen watching over Patrick as he goes back to school.
