Tyra was another former employee of murdered couple Tom and Della Lincoln and worked with the third and youngest victim of the brutal slayings, Derek Jackson. She was also a victim of domestic violence by her boyfriend, Jammal. They were both accused of the murders, but Tyra wasn't clearly accused in the episode. The reason was the three victims knew of the abuse, but only two tried to intervene on the couple's behalf, but failed miserably.
