Thom Barry was born in Cincinnati, where he worked as DJ in the early 80's.
Before Cold Case, he did voice work on animated shows such as The Incredible Hulk and The Wild Thornberrys. He also made guest appearances on shows like JAG, Diagnosis Murder and NYPD Blue and had recurring roles on The West Wing and The Practice. He also worked on the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious.
While working on Cold Case, he made guest appearances on the TV series Curb Your Enthusiasm and Crash.
After Cold Case's cancellation he guest starred on House and on Outlaw.
He is on the cast of the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, which is set to premiere in 2013.
