Paige Pratt was a lovely, outgoing 16-year-old sophomore at Crespi High School, where she was a star track runner and captain. Even though Paige was loved by everyone who knew her or just happened to meet her, and it appeared as if she had the perfect life, it wasn't all that great.

Paige was dating a 21-year-old college-aged man named Al Clarkson who seemed to be very clingy, possessive ,and dominating. At the track meets, she noticed a handsome 18-year-old senior named Bennett Cahill, who was also in track and captain of his team at a rival school, Jefferson High, and fell in love with him. He was already in a relationship with a cheerleader named Jane, but this information wouldn’t stop Paige, who believed she could be a way better girlfriend for Bennett.

One day after track, Paige and Bennett met each other in the parking lot of Crespi High. They ended up having sex in his car at the Schuylkill River. When Jane learned about it, she was furious and wanted to make Paige pay.

On June 20, 1981, Paige met Bennett again at Schuylkill River where they had their first rendezvous. Bennett sweet-talked Paige into his "best friend" Will Harrell's car on a fake date when he said a code word. Jane then came out of her hiding spot in the backseat and yelled at Paige in hurt and anger for thinking that she could steal Jane's boyfriend from her. Then, Bennett lunged at Paige, trying to strangle her to death while Jane beat her in the head with Bennett’s barbell. As Paige began bleeding to death, she managed to escape from the car and ran away, but tripped at a small bridge. Bennett caught up to her and pulled out a gun. Paige begged for her life and pleaded with Bennett to stop, but he coldly shot her at close range.

Al was wrongly convicted of Paige's death two years later until new evidence led to Bennett and Jane's arrests in 2003. Paige's spirit is last seen running laps at her school by Lilly Rush.
