Mia Romanov was the victim in "Metamorphosis". She worked at Jonas Brothers Circus, where she went from a clown to working the silk act in 1971.
History[]
Mia grew up with the circus. After her parents, who were both silk aerialists, died, she was adopted by Sheldon Burgess, who was her godfather. Mia and Sheldon planned her own aerial act for the failing Jonas Brothers Circus, drawing the ire of knife-thrower and circus star Zelda Panay. Eventually, Mia became the circus' headliner with her act, known as "Mia Romanov's Magical Metamorphosis", which was extremely successful. Sheldon suggested she leave the circus, as the Ringling Brothers wanted her under their name. This would never come to be, however, as Mia figured out Biggie Jones and Lester Smith's scam: they would overbook tickets acting as charities. When Mia threatened to expose Biggie, Lester strangled her to death and shoved her in the silk sheet to make it look as if she died in an accidental fall.
Her murder would be solved in 2010.
