Mark Adams was the boyfriend of murder victim Eve Kendall in "Lover's Lane".
In 1986, Mark and Eve went to Lover's Lane, where Mark was assaulted and nearly killed by Wayne Larkin, who knocked him unconscious, while Eve was tragically raped and murdered by Jim Larkin. After surviving the horrific experience, Mark would identify Sam Tarrance as the perpetrator, who was then wrongfully arrested for the crime.
At some point, Mark married Wendy and they had two children.
In 2004, when Eve's murder case was reopened, Mark would be suspected of killing her because of her so-called "infidelity" and rumors of him being "controlling and possessive" of his girlfriend, but he admitted that he never truly gotten over his first love. Mark told the detectives about Eve's popularity and how she got the attention from many men. He also developed a brief infatuation with Detective Lilly Rush due to her resemblance to Eve. Later, Mark showed up and spoke with Rush, telling her that he had ruined his marriage and relationship with his wife when he went to see Wendy the other night. Rush gently set him straight about following her.
After the murder was solved and Wayne and his father were arrested, Mark visited Tarrance, who now worked at Budget Wash, and made peace with him. Later, Mark went to Lover's Lane, where he "sees" Eve at the lake.
