Louie Amante is a Crime Scene Unit officer who usually works with the squad on cases involving fire or explosives. Several of the squad attended Louie's wedding in 2010, where they investigated the mysterious death of the bride's former fiancee two years earlier. Suspicion passed between the bride, members of her family, and even Louie himself, before the death was found to be a suicide.
