Status Deceased (1994)

Jack Raymes is a victim in "Thrill Kill". He was the son of Henry Raymes and Tanya Raymes.

Jack and his friends George Russo and Sean Costley played a prank on his father by turning off the lights in the basement. Henry was afraid of the dark and had a mental breakdown. When the boys revealed that it was a prank, Henry beat all of them to death with a flashlight. Their bodies were dumped in an empty swimming pool. Henry left Jack's stuffed dog on him, which his son slept with every night. Their bodies were discovered by three people; Dylan Noakes (who was spraying graffiti in the pool), a crazy homeless man named Job (who stole Jack's stuffed dog and saw Dylan standing over the bodies), and Detective Joe Connelly. Joe beat a false confession out of Dylan's friend Teddy Nimmo and the two boys got life in prison. What's worse is that Tanya figured out shortly after the boys' deaths that her husband is the real killer of their son and his friends, but kept quiet.

It turned out that Henry had sent Teddy a note in prison, admitting to his crimes. Teddy tried to give it to his lawyer but the man didn't want anything to do with him. Teddy then hanged himself in 2007, which led to his mother Myrna Nimmo discovering the note and handing it to the cold case team.

In the epilogue, Henry is arrested and Tanya visits the empty pool while clutching Jack's stuffed dog. Lilly Rush comes by the neighborhood and imagines Jack, George and Sean riding past on their bikes. Jack is the only one who stops and looks back at Lilly.
