Chris Lassing was Lilly Rush's partner until the fall of 2003.
Nicknamed 'Lass' by Lilly, he was a competent, hard-working detective but never quite shared her passion for cold cases. A smoker, Lassing was married and therefore not fond of the long hours Lilly insisted on putting in. He later transferred out of homicide due to problems with diabetes. Lassing was replaced by Scotty Valens several weeks later.
