Carla Difranco was a minor character in "True Calling".
When Detective Nick Vera came to request a ballistics report on the murder case of Laura McKinney, Carla turned him down. When Nick informed her that it was special circumstances, Carla once again turned down his offer and told him to wait for two weeks. Later, Nick came back bringing scones for Carla, but Carla rejected as she was allegric to wheat. When he became very desperate, Carla told him that she liked musicals. Afterwards, Nick managed to get the report on the murder weapon though he had to buy two tickets to a broadway musical "Wicked" for Carla.
After the case was solved, Carla went on a date with Nick.
