Ms. Boyd was one of murder victim Skill Jones' teachers in "8:03 am". She had little patience for her inner-city students, and less for Skill in particular. Boyd would dismiss his potential, claiming he'd never be more than a drug dealer, because Skill was almost illiterate. She would make him read in front of the class, a task he struggled to do. Skill maintained his efforts regardless, but he died before fully following up on them.
