Archie Sloan is a minor character from "Soul". He is the son of Beatrice Sloan and Billy Sanders.
When Beatrice was pregnant with Archie in 1970, her ex-boss Ronde Brooks offered money to Billy so she can have him aborted.
In 2009 when Archie's son was given a school assignment of making a family tree, it got Archie thinking about his own father Billy, who his mother described as a drunken bum. He asked Will Jeffries to reopen the case and found that Billy was murdered.
In the epilogue, his son got to make his family tree and Archie finally met his grandfather, Reverend Tom Sanders. They both imagined Billy watching over them.
