Archie Randall is a character from "Boy Crazy". He is the father of the murder victim Samantha "Sam" Randall.
Archie meant well for Sam but did not know what to make of her wanting to dress and act like a boy. After she was expelled from school, he sent her to a mental institution hoping her behavior would be corrected. She instead was found dead in a pond.
Archie is in an old age home in 2007, with no one to visit him and regretting leaving Sam at the institution.
